We were in deep conversation about momentum and movement in regard to leadership. And this one truth kept coming up that momentum is not a reaction, it's a decision. And that you don't wait for clarity, you move, and clarity arrives and meets you in motion. So right now you have two ways forward. One, you can't see the forest for the trees. Great. Move from the next visible step. Or two reverse engineer the next visible step from the big vast future vision that you hold. So if you can't access anything forward, you plant the next visible step. If you've got the forward vision, but don't know what to do between here and there, reverse engineer to determine the next visible step. So let's start with the next visible step. If you're looking for momentum, start with what is directly in front of you. You already know what's next. Your intuition certainly knows. Chances are it's your mind trying to complicate matters. Whether this is the post that's been brewing in your head for days, the email that needs to go out, the offer that is right there at the tip of your tongue. The fastest way to create, quote, clarity around that is you make a move. To the second point around reverse engineering from the big vast vision, you move from the future back into the now. So, how do you do that? You act as the version of you who already has that result because she knows. You lead from the business that already exists, not the one that you're building. So this is assuming the outcome. And you make decisions as if they are inevitable, not in a hesitation state. So momentum isn't about waiting, it's about deciding that that future vast vision is real before it manifests in the scene realms. So, all of this to say, momentum gets to be a conscious choice and decision. You don't wait for certainty, you don't wait for the plan to be, quote, perfect. You don't wait for the right time. I did an Instagram live yesterday with a fire of transformation mastermind client who said essentially this. She said, I'm not waiting until I have nothing on my plate to create my dream life. And that's you. You decide, you move, and clarity arises from the motion that you create.
